Charter Partners was founded on the idea that business owners and the companies that serve them can gain more by working together as partners.

The idea of partnership has come to life at Charter Partners. Here, business owners capitalize on their shared interests with other entrepreneurs -- while also retaining and enhancing their independent interests. Our Members have created an environment in which entrepreneurs can work together collaboratively with their peers. We call this “The Power of Shared Knowledge^TM”.

Since 1996, the Charter Partners approach has proven to be workable and effective. Business owners, insurance carriers, insurance agents, risk management experts, and other service providers have worked together in an environment of mutual trust and respect. The Community has achieved a track record in risk management and insurance that is approximately 10 percentage points more favorable than the industry at large.

But partnership goes beyond working on a specific project or need. Partnership creates a long-term strong business relationship where all parties gain.

Because of the strength of partnership, Charter Partners Members have taken the step of creating a working document -- The Charter Partners Declaration of Interdependence -- that contains our aspirations for achieving greater success by working interdependently with other like-minded entrepreneurs.
